I have had a few people ask me, what is the secret to your success? To answer that question with one word, “determination”.
I have worked out many ways of maximizing my efforts and never do I just take a picture and upload it, rather I try work several things into each post.

I started regular blogs using @Partiko mobile app with my “Word of the day” posts. This was a challenge for myself, take a word and make a post that will captivate an audience whether my mind is in a dark place or not. I found this practice very therapeutic being able to take the emotions I hold and portray them through my writing and art. Yes, I call my cheesy photo edits art! I am not a photographer but I take pictures, I am not a videographer but I record videos, I am not a writer but I write blogs, I do however always implement self expression in everything I do exposing my personality through the things I create. To me that all constitutes art, art with a hidden meaning on top of the obvious message, I am an artist.

I figured it a good time to share some of the secrets I have, some of the apps I use, and my general take on how to find your way here on Steemit. I am by far not an expert but who in life is ever an expert, there is always more to learn!

My Mobile Apps

I use a decent selection of applications on my iPhone 6s, I do a fair amount of my editing for both videos and photos. Also use these same apps on my iPad for the sake of a larger screen and more hdd capacity.

• ProCamera Mobile App, it far surpasses the regular camera and has a wide range of filters and much better video stabilization. Has a free option but I have put the money down for the extra features opening up HDR and nightmode+.

• PhotoFox Mobile App, this is a strong yet simple photo editor. I do all my major picture edits with this app excluding my DTube thumbnails. I can layer and blend with a click, erase and merge with a swipe, emphasize and focus at a glance. I have paid for the yearly subscription to gain advantage of infinite layers yet there is a free option which does just about everything needed to feel the app out. The coolest features are paid, glitch, sketch, graffiti, I have found them all very easy to use with built in tutorials of how to get the best results. KISS photo editing at its prime!

• Partiko Mobile App, when it comes to simplicity and speed I find nothing beats this app for accessing the blockchain including using my browser on Steemit.com from my iPhone 6s. When on the go KISS is a must and the only downside, it’s still evolving, if you can consider that a downside? We have the opportunity to help model the project into what fits us best through feedback and suggestions. I gained partnership simply by participating and doing what I do best, something that suits me!

GoPro Video Editors - Quik & Splice

These are both free and super easy to use, no you do not need a GoPro or account to use them.

• KISS at its finest with Quik, select images and videos, theme, song, fine tune, and it does all the transitions and panning automatically with the ability to customize though not completely. Quik downside, limited by length of audio track and will squeeze out some parts of videos without careful fine tuning perfect for 3-4 min videos with auto length adjustment for the audio track ending. This application will do wonders for that person who does not have access to a PC or Mac for edits or does not believe they have the ability, just play a bit and you will come out with something amazing!

• Splice is basically a more featured version of iMovie. Way better with video length and audio implementation like any traditional editor. Does have a decent selection of transitions but no “theme” like Quik, that is upto you with customization and audio. Adding images has automatic settings for simplified editing, will also loop the selected audio track. I call this the second level editor for some ready for a little more content in their videos, less action packed but much better for informational vlogs. Splice can even do a voice over style video typically found on YouTube.

My “Secrets”

Have confidence and keep challenging yourself, simple right? It has been a challenge for myself but embracing the learning experience has made all the difference. Showcasing my work good or bad, learning to appreciate criticism and laugh along at my failures.

Bring yourself into everything you do, fill it with character and don’t be afraid of trying new things plus share all your efforts. Make connections with people and share your admiration of them openly, acknowledge everyone you can. Thank people for their comments good or bad, everything in life can be used as a learning experience including dropping a @D00k13 in your pants(if you watched my last vlog you know what I’m talking about).

Don’t be afraid to make an investment, I highly suggest getting yourself upto 75SP asap however possible. From their start boosting heavy your work that makes you proud, adds value, has a message, contributes to the Steemit community. Get that reputation up after 60 you are a real human whom has contributed and deserves some attention, at least that was my experience.

Most importantly Collaborate, with others and within your own ideas. Bring as much as you can into one post and this is a good example. In this post I am endorsing @Partiko Partnership, sharing tools of my success, encouraging those who have not tried to do so, offering suggestions and feedback for the Partiko App, spreading my message “if I can do it so can you”.

@Partiko Suggestions & Feedback

I have many and I have already spoke of many so let’s wrap this up with a positive note for change for the better with examples.

• Image Handling, ability to save images from within app and view full sized uncropped image at a click or setting to always view full size images. Mentioned to me by @steemitri “Yo... I tried the app, but I'm more PC-mannequin. Super fast and with notifications... that's great.
  I had some problems with photos in comments... they were cropped :-(
  I also like the "score" part of the app.”

• Notifications & Mentions, I would like to see a little more customization towards alert selection with inclusion of replies and mentions. Divided alert tabs within notification screen with a toggle on or off for alerts on that tab🤞 I like to know my mentions so I can make an appearance but may not always want push alerts for everything.

• Compose, multiple images! Currently I must use the browser and copy the markdown into my post, just an extra step I think a simple upload image button that implements the markdown with no preview could fix especially if you could edit the title part from a pop up so you will know which image it is say you come back to the post later. Also a post preview would be handy eliminating the need for an edit post feature 😉

• Application Tweaks. Auto refresh notifications when clicked from lock screen. Search history. Leaderboard listing for your rank even if not top 20. More on phone saved drafts or templates. Signatures. Set “normal” vote value.

• Ipad & Landscape support, I wish to use Partiko on my iPad using my Bluetooth keyboard. The side by side feature on iPad makes resourcing while writing, much easier copy paste on the fly.

I think that pretty well covers everything! I have mentioned other things with a great response. We can now select top or bottom for images in compose. Keyboard handling is much smoother and many other little “bugs” have been fixed. I have never had the Partiko app crash, never lost my work, only once had an issue which was because of SteemConnect and not the app itself. I have had more troubles with Steemit.com then this app ffs, how is that possible? Simplicity! KISS at its finest, it just needs to freaking work and I am happy. You know happy I am, it works so well I pushed forward hard and made partnership! No one has anything bad to say rather they only have suggestions for improvement. That’s a feat with no one having an experience to complain about relative to the app itself.

So what’s my secret? I just do something, anything, instead of just looking. If I can do it so can you! Soon I intend to apply myself at figuring a way of mobile DTube uploads then I will be a living message of all you need is a smartphone to thrive on STEEM.
