Question: Error Message when Casting a Vote

I'm getting the following message when I cast a vote:

cannot increase payout within last 12 hours before payout

I did convert Steem Dollars into Steem Power earlier this morning... is this related?

    Nah... It's just that you can't upvote something that is 12 hrs away from payout. Like if the post is 6 days 12hrs old... you can't upvote it to payout more money.

    Thanks, that makes sense. It's linked to the poster not me... feeling a little self centred having thought my actions made it happen lol.

    Hi @dahlsom,

    Not related to your power up.

    Posts can not receive upvotes/flags in the period between 12 hours before payout, and payout time.

    After payout time you will be able to vote again but it won't contribute to the author's rewards only his/her reputation will grow/decrease.
