How to write on steemit?
One of the biggest problems with many posts on steemit is that there is no person in the writing. If people wanted news and statistic updates and information they would go to the news or some company website.
This kind of information has nothing wrong with it and can be really valuable, but vomiting information out into your posts and blog can be quite bad.
People are emotional beings, this meaning that they link memories and events in their brain with emotions and feelings. Ever wonder why you only remember things you did when it is followed by punishment or praise from your parents or people around you.
The point is that what you are doing and posting about is good, but the way in which you do it is all wrong. There are a few ways of correcting this.
- Add some humor to your posts, people love to laugh or read some hidden satire within your posts.
- Tell a story, experience sells and if you are giving stats and news on something you have experienced before. Make sure to share it.
- Each person is unique and you have your own writing technique and way you express yourself, so add this to your posts.
If you try these few things I can promise you that you will have better deeper and more meaningful comments and conversations with the people reading your posts. People love to feel something, so give them good feelings each time they read your post.

well put, these are my first impressions of the site - unfortunately
the other problem seems to be that everything gets lost almost instantly, hence one might feel like putting personal feelings into a post is a waste - which shouldn't be the case but it's kind of understandable .
take me as an example. i've written a really personal introducing post, but whooooof, like it was never there, gone with the wind.
