Community challenge
Topics for voting:
- Ways to promote steemit to family and friends and those around us.
- The new steemit logo.
- Community goals, how we define them and stick to them on steemit.
- This monkey pox scare is just overdone
- Power Solutions for Africa

- Power Solutions for Africa
- The Buddy System
Make sure to vote in the channel for your topic.
Weekly Topic Contests/Discussion.
Each week there will be a topic chosen (Voted for) by the members in the channels. Once the topic is chosen everyone is allowed to participate and write a post on the topic.
- There are no strict guild lines.
- Try be creative and do things that no one else will do, make the topic 'wow' people.
- There will be a few rewards for interesting and amazing content that is on topic.
- This project will be evaluated each week and stats will be collected, based on the stats there will be more given to this project.
Rewards:
Based on the involvement of the community in this project the rewards will increase. As of now I will give a 100% upvote (+/- $4) on the post that is the best, ALL other posts will also get voted on and will get a small reward.
Post-promotion channel
The post-promotion channel has become nothing more than just a dumping ground for users inside this community. I am looking into alternate ways to change this so please feel free to give some suggestions.
A new system will be implemented and curation with the delegated support for the community will be effected by this new system, thus getting people more interactive for the support which is given them by the community curators and the people which have delegated to support the community.
New Channels
The contest channel has been added to the community channels, this is not only for admins or mods (or above) to use. This is for everyone to use. If they are participating in any contests this channel is to get support from the rest of the community. I will be using this to support any participants of contests (within or outside of the community)
Some rules:
Do not just link drop and not help anyone else out. If you want support you will need to also give it, no matter how small you are.
Anyone who does not follow this rule above will be banned from this channel and will not be allowed to ask for any support till such a time the have proven themselves.
Any links dropped to normal posts (Non contest posts) will be banned in the same way as above.
For those of you who would like to test me... go ahead I love teaching manners to rude people! I will even give them free lessons, so you don't have the excuse of saying "I can't afford them"
Upcoming Projects
- The buddy system
- Q&A channel/discussion
- How to steemit, (as any questions you like)
- Mr and Mrs steemit (based on writing and activity on the platform)
- Invite a friend.
There will be many more projects, within the community, coming up as each project grows. There will be a need for people to manage each of these projects, so stay tuned for the announcement.
There projects are based in the community, but anyone is welcome to participate and use these ideas. Together we are one huge community, steem on!

To join just simply follow the instructions on the welcome page of the server, or simply message @dragonslayer109 once you have pressed the link and I will be able to give you permission to join the other channels.

i ll be writing on "Community goals, how we define them and stick to them on steemit." when shall i do it and where should i post it ? the discord post-promtion channel? (ps: i ve suggested that topic thats why im willing to write on it ) :)))))))))))

Wow am happy that the dischord channel is about to start functioning well.
To me the best way,is for people to interact with each other,get to know other another and to learn new stuff.

I want to suggest that topics that didn't get the highest votes this week, can also be voted for in upcoming weeks if members of the group are still interested.
That is what I a have done. This way we will always have topics each week.
