Updates From ECS
Greetings my dear East Coast Steemians,
This will serve as an update for the official @eastcoaststeem (ECS) curation account.
Firstly, a big shout out to @inthenow for helping with our new ECS logo and background! Thanks to him, our page looks....AWESOME!
In case you're not familiar with what ECS is all about....it is a manual curation account primarily for east coast Steemians. Manual in that @chelsea88 does the curating! Yes, you will get upvotes, comments, & resteems from an actual person. I love going through to see what my ECS people are up to & I think curating is the best way to do so. If ECS is not currently following you and you reside anywhere on the East Coast US, (this includes AL, GA, FL, all the "obvious east coast states", Michigan....our scope is pretty broad), please simply follow @eastcoaststeem & I will check out your blog.
If you are not an east coast Steemian, @rockymtnsteem ran by @amvanaken would be a good option for regional curation and/or community engagement. Another great option to consider is the amazing @steemusa!
I have heard something about a west coast steem as well of which @amvanaken would have more information on.
ECS has a growing discord you are welcome to join, simply contact me ( @chelsea88 ) on discord - same name.
Down the line, I would love to facilitate steemit meetups for ECS which will be awesome. Think steemfest - but for ECS or, on a much broader scope, @steemusa! It is nice to see community leaders and free thinkers stepping forward on steemit to facilitate collaboration in our collective regional areas. We have great growth opportunity with all that is going on!
