Two Days Experience In One Post

Two days ago we were announced that our Steemit life took a turn. What's happened? Two things happened. One: we got ads on Steemit. Two: our Steemit wallet got separated.

I had a post about it here This Is Not What I Have Signed Up For. I got a few comments and people are having mixed feelings about the ad part. Some are annoyed just like me, others don't care as they prefer to ignore it.

I've been seeing ads for two days now and my opinion has not changed a bit.

The blue banner on the top of the page appears every time I'm using Steemit. No matter how many times I cancel it, always comes back. Dear developers, a "cancel for good" option would have been really appreciated here, believe me, I understand what you are saying, have learned my lesson, don't need to be reminded every minute about the wallet changes. This is already annoying and it's only been two days. I'm wondering for how long that banner is going to stay there.

On my mobile I can see an ad after every 15 post. Apart from the fact that I don't want them, will never click one, it's time and energy consuming!

In desktop I guess it's even worse, I guess it comes after fewer posts repeatedly.

The second part, the wallet change is fine. I don't mind that. It's easier this way in my humble opinion. That was a smart move.

Conclusion:
I still don't like the as part, will never like it and I'm using Steemit only in case I don't have another choice. Still hoping they are going to get rid of it, although I don't think so. If it means a source of income, they won't.
I truly hope other dapp owners won't ever do the same!
