working hard just for a thumb (like)

Before I know steemit, I do something just to get like from others.
Can we imagine how hard we make a work just for a like, although getting like will make us happy but over time we will be bored because our work is only appreciated a like that does not make us profit and not worth our hard work so far.
But unlike the steemit works we appreciated even paid.
Steemit will make everyone will continue to work for any reason
Especially with how to run it that is not too complicated
