Steemit is a new social media where everyone is paid for online posting, has been released in beta. During certain times of multiple social media platforms, many of them are rooted, how will new users react to Steemit?

Steemit is a relatively new company, founded in early 2016 by Ned Scott and Daniel Larimer.

Ned Scott previously worked for the Gallert Global Group, a privately owned family-owned company in North America.
Daniel Larimer himself is the founder of Bitshares, which has the 11th largest market capitalization of all Cryptocurrency.
This steemit is supported by blockchain technology and uses new cryptocurrency to reward users who upload articles, images, comments, etc.

Another way users can be paid is through the source and up-voting of popular content. Previously someone up-voted a voice that became popular, the more is a reward.
Users are paid half in 'Steem Power (vesting currency) and half in Steem Dollars, which can be redeemed for US Dollars.
