What I have discovered so far on steemit: For new and old steemias

I see steemit as a forum or social networking site that anyone can use. It is a forum that can earn you good pay through upvoting, commenting, and posting articles in different areas.

Steemit is not a place you will work a day, or a week and you are expecting to make it big, not possible! However, to start on this forum in order not to just be posting anything anyhow, first thing to do after registration is to take your time to study the guides to the rules of steemit forum. In fact, take a break of one week to eat and digest those guides, try well because without you doing so, your possibility of getting paid will be low. After studying the guides your next post should be about introducing yourself like telling readers about the hard times of your past and how you have overcome it. Actually, this is the first experience that I felt you can quickly understand about introducing yourself.

Let me tell you how I came about steemit social networking website. I was in a cafe one day busy helping students to fill their data for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) when suddenly a blogger (my friend) rushed in and said he had gotten a forum that can make me and others in the cafe to get good money, that in just a month. He said he had made #400,000 just posting and winning contest questions. On hearing this, I asked him about all the steps in joining which he did and told me to read the guides which I said I will but what was in my mind was to make his same money within 7days like $500 with post because I was anxious to have money but not knowing steemit is not a platform for lazy individuals but for those you are ready to work hard and harder through knowing who to upvotes, the post to comment on, redeeming post, how to get more reputation, how to increase your reputation, how not to plagerize and how to produce high quality contents.

Lastly, to have followers that is, those that will mostly read, upvotes and comment on your post to make you earn, you need to focus on a particular tag (area of specialisation) that you are good at. I see many steemias just posting on any tags not maintaining on one tag, with you not staying on one area make your followers to upvotes or comment or even resteemit (reblogging) your post, you might actually not get alot of followers. I did alot of that when I started until I went back to read the guides and many articles that had been written of people's like mine here. If you ask those making $100, $200, $300 and so on here (steemit), they had work so hard and harder in writing alot and upvoting and commenting to start getting this amount. Legit money don't come easy!

However, I am certain with the little I have written, I believe many steemias will in one part had this kind of experiences when starting and for those who are just joining, you need my little experience because we are learning everyday. Even with what I have learnt, I still have more to learn and gain.
