The Gold Rush and the future of Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago

One of the key factors in the success of Steemit is the fact that people is rewarded for what they do.
Some post, comment or upvote may get a very small reward, but compared to the "no reward at all" policy of other social networks (whose owners gain billions of dollars from the value created by the users), the difference is substantial.

In this first year of Steemit many of the users have been focusing on "how to get more upvotes", expecially from whales.
Some post gets overvalued, many may remain unnoticed, and this can also be frustrating for the beginners.

In the future we will start using Steemit just because is a better way to digitally interact with our friends, and to meet new ones.
The fact that we will earn money just expressing ourselves, that may seem utopian today, will become normal in the future.

For this to happen, is fundamental that everyone, with his thinking, realizes a deep understanding of what money is.
