Steemit Community Fundraiser: I need your upvote to help pay for my dog's surgery ($157.90 of $5000 raised)

Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and he is going to be ok, we got great news from the doctor on 1/31/18 during his most recent visit to his vet!!!

Unfortunately, these unexpected expenses have hit my family very hard and I am turning to the Steemit community in an effort to raise funds to pay for Flop's surgery. Every Upvote, Follow, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up awesome!!! All of your kind words & support have been amazing so far and as you can see, it is growing by the day, so thank you so much!

Below is the picture of Floppy when he just got out of surgery and the blog started, and the pic that usually appears in the feed each day when his scar was the newest. Below that are pictures of Floppy's scar from 1/20/18 & 2/1/18... it's healing so well!!!!

And I added a pic of FLop's scar from today 2/13. It looks more visible to me and I think it's because maybe his hair is growing back a bit!

...Amazing, right?!?!?! The Doctors really did a sensational job!

DAY 43 UPDATE

Flop woke up and Luey wanted to take him for his walk today before his breakfast so I obliged.

It's cool that Lu & Flop are best buds, Vanessa and I love it!

After the walk, I made Luey's breakfast and got ready for work. Flop had his beggin strip after the walk and he scarfed it down and ran to Lu for some of his breakfast. He was eating chocolate chip muffins though and Luey knows not to give Flop anything with chocolate. He did throw him one of his orange slices though.

We've continued to leave Flop out of the kitchen and out and about with no access to jump on the couches. I hope he's been enjoying the extra space, it's almost like how it used to be for him with the exception of know couches. He still has his bed though.

After we got back from work Flop was so excited to see us today that he peed the floor again! :(

I had to clean it up before we went for our walk and he finished the rest of his business outside. During the walk we saw our neighbor's dog outside and of course Floppy was barking like an ass hole for no reason.

Then I gave Luey his dinner around 630. Vanessa was working late tonight so she brought home dinner for us. So before I ate, I took Luey upstairs to get ready for bed. Flop stayed downstairs and was happy when I came back downstairs.

Flop was so annoying while Vanessa and I were eating dinner tonight I almost wanted to put him in the cage!!! When he gets like that, we don't even give him anything - he knows better. He gets a lot more when he's not begging for it.

After dinner I let floppy outside with me while I was having my cigarette and then I went upstairs. Vanessa stayed down a bit to do some exercise and I'm sure Flop enjoyed the late night company with her!
