ONE DAY ONE HADITS

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ليس المسكين الذي يطوف على الناس ترده اللقمة واللقمتان والتمرة والتمرتان ولكن المسكين الذي لا يجد غنى يغنيه ولا يفطن به فيتصدق عليه ولا يقوم فيسأل الناس

From Abu Hurairah (RU) that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "It is not the man who is said to be poor who goes around begging people for food bites or one or two dates, but what the poor say is one who does not get something to meet his needs and not known condition of poverty, then he was given alms, he did not want to beg alms to the people.

Content of hadith

1. Poverty is not an insult, because sustenance is a gift of God that is shared with unequal levels between creatures. There are a lot and there are few. All of which contain wisdom in the sight of Allah as a test to man.

2. People who ask alms to expect a bite of food but do not want to try to get sustenance for the necessities of life, has not been considered poor. They are lazy and not a noble Muslim.

3. Asking a bite of food by asking for alms or begging with no effort, it will come on the Day of Resurrection with a skinless face.

4. The person who does not get something to meet his needs, but he does not want to show poverty by begging until people think he does not need help. He has a noble nature and does not want to insult himself by begging or begging, he is trying to work to get it. This is a really poor person.

God's Word:

للفقرآء ٱلذين أحصروا في سبيل ٱلله لا يستطيعون ضربا في ٱلأرض يحسبهم العربية

(Berinfaklah) to the poor people who have determined themselves (by living solemnly or striving) in the path of Allah (defending Islam) who does not strive on earth; people who do not know they are rich because they keep themselves from begging. You know them by looking at their properties, they do not ask people urgently. (al-Baqarah: 273)

1. The glorious of the poor are those who are not begging but as strong as possible to work for the lawful even if income is not sufficient. But to beg for, it is very taboo for them. These are the most worthy of zakat and assisted. They deserve capital from zakat, not only given 2.5 kg because it is so painful for him, but love the capital for him in the form of 25 tons of rice to be turned into rolling capital.

2. Poverty is not an excuse to beg, for asking and begging is a despicable work. Do not include self-defeating persons when giving charity to the beggars at the crossroads or around traffic lights, because all this time, according to the writer's observation they are absorbed in smoking, drinking juice, eating and drinking with pride during this Ramadhan .

3. Try and work because it is a noble job. The work of the Prophets, as the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) follows

عن المقدام رضي اللهم عنه عن رسول الله صلى اللهم عليه وسلم قال: ((ما أكل أحد طعاما قط خيرا من أن يأكل من عمل يده وإن نبي الله داود عليه السلام كان يأكل من عمل يده)) رواه البخاري.

From al-Miqdam Radhiallahu 'anhu, that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "No one (servant) eats better food from the work of his hands (alone), and indeed Prophet Dawud' alaihisalam eat from the results of his (own) hand"

The Word of Allah Subhanahu wata'ala relating to the theme of the hadith, which explains the praise of Allah to His servants seeking for the righteous rizki, but still khusu in obedience.

رجال لا تلهيهم تجارة ولا الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة يخافون

"A man who is not neglected by commerce and not by buying and selling from the remembrance of Allah, establishing prayers, and performing Zakat. They are afraid of the day (vengeance) that (at that) the heart and the vision are shaken ".
(Surat an-Nuur: 37).
