The African childs Day

Hello steemians, the African child
The picture above shows an image of an African child born and breed in south-south, Nigeria; western part of Africa. Today is significally known to be the African child’s day- every child deserves to be heard, taught, believed in, respected, encouraged, cared for and above all loved. The African child not like other child is rich in melanin, curly hair, great body and health. Africans are known for their courage, strength and fearless attitude, commitment etcc. The children are not excluded they too exhibit this characteristic I mean every African adult was once a child. The African child overtime has been discriminated in so many ways, scorned, neglected, pushed aside, ignored, and treated worse but this is done by sheer ignorance. Things are different now ofcourse they are changing for the better, the African child has shown reasons why they should be invested in- they are smart, exposed, creative and full of pure essence. Every June 15 is set aside to remind people of more reasons to find every African child worthy of being invested in- emotionally, physically, intellectually and psychologically.

PATFON UNIQUE ACADEMY honored and did a little celebration of the African child which showcased different African dishes and exhibit of some drawings and painting, they also showed different tribes with their languages, did poems and acted as well as songs in vernacular. Pupils were dressed colorfully and beautifully in their traditional robes depending on their tribes. It was such a sight to behold as parents and teachers were fulfilled to see their children that happy. The aim of the celebration was to allow children reconnect to their root and also reminded of how important they are and why they should be proud to be African children. Children they say are the leaders of tomorrow – do things right today will surely bring up a brighter future an AFRICAN CHILD deserves an investment invest in them.
