WHEN GOD IS YOUR HELPER

Since God was her only salvation
She had no enemy to fear
When the devil came with his temptation
She didn't tremble because her help was near.

Adversaries had surrounded around her
Firm to her faith she had stood
No terror could frustrate her
Because her foundation was good.

Her heart he'd strengthened
And her joy he'd increased
In his mercy her days He lengthened
And all her days He gave her peace
