[with Google Trends] 'Steem', Would it be better to sell this?

Hi~ I'm @lordwillbe

Today,
I'm going to use Google Trends to talk about investment decisions about altcoins prices
(I'd like to use 'Steem' as an example.)

I usually tend to believe in Google Trends data.

This Goodle Trends, of course, agree that it can be manipulated by someone or cause anomalies. But, Overall, I believe it is highly reliable to view trends in searching datas for a given period.

First of all, let's take a look at the most representative 'Ethereum'.

(1) Ethereum

1) The Google Trends of Ethereum

[Reference : 'ethereum' Google Trends, https://trends.google.com]

I've searched for 'ethereum' in Google Trends.

So, As of June 11, 2017, the search index was the highest of 100, and until recently, the search volume has decreased slightly.
But, The overall trends of search volume has increased significantly since May 2017.

2) The Price of Ethereum

[Reference : The price of 'ethereum', http://coinmarketcap.com/]

This picture is the recent one-year price trends of Ethereum brought from CoinMarketCap Website.

Similarly, in June of 2017, the price was highest than USD $400, and until recently, the price has been declining slightly.

Even with our eyes,
we can see that the search trends and the price trends of Ethereum move very much similar.

One thing that needs to be done is that it would be better to combine them in one picture.
Therefore I once brought these two factors into Microsoft Excel and plotted it on the same chart.

3) If I combine them(search trends and price trends of Ethereum) together

Now, Could you see it more clearly in the same chart?

Looking at the search trend of Google Trends and price trend of 'Ethereum' over the past year,
We can see that they've moved around a similar movement as shown above.

If you apply this chart to short-term trading, I will never recommend this method.

Because this chart only tells the result of the past story.

But if we focus on trends that are the original meaning of Google Trends, the search trend of 'ethereum' is still largely upwards.

So, unless this search trend continues to decline in the future,
I think the price of ethereum is likely to change again.

(2) STEEM

So now what about the Altcoins, the title of this article, of which STEEM

1) The Google Trends of Steem

[Reference : 'steem' Google Trends, https://trends.google.com]

I've searched for 'steem' in Google Trends.

So, As of June 4, 2017, the search index was the highest of 100, it was going down and then rising again at the end of June and early July.

2) STEEM의 price

[Reference : The price of 'STEEM', http://coinmarketcap.com/]

This picture is the recent one-year price trends of STEEM brought from CoinMarketCap Website.

Of course, in 2016, the price data had fallen significantly due to the effects of HardForks transfers. But In 2017, the price went up, the price was highest than USD $2.45, and until recently, the price has been declining sharply.

3) If I combine them(search trends and price trends of STEEM) together

Although this is not as similar as We have seen before 'ethereum',
However, we can see that Google Trends and coin price of STEEM is almost exactly the same.

If We apply this to short-term investments, I do not know the future price of STEEM.

But if we focus on trends that are the original meaning of Google Trends, notice that the search trend for ' STEEM ' is directed towards the higher point.

If someone asks me this,

"STEEM coin price is falling this way and should I just sell STEEM?"

My answer to this question is

"No~",
"How would you like to decide on the search trend of STEEM in the mid or long-term?"
