SO now after all the hulabaloo it looks like Facebook has become “very serious” about creating their own cryptocurrency. some of you may be aware that this idea has come up in the past bu it is yet to be seen if such a plan will bring added value to facebook. It will surely add speculative value to the company but speculation is the boom and bane of the crypto world.

Facebook still is the western social network leader despite the fair share of obstacles in recent news. Right now facebook is in the midst of mitigating the fallout from the Cambridge Analytica scandal. It's leaders know recovering from massive problems like this is possible, and it looks like they may use the current buzzwords to vault them back into positive light. But when?

Aside from internal restructuring Facebook has made it clear it will forge ahead with changes like its blockchain division. Of course with that news enthusiasts have created droves of speculation as to what Facebook will use blockchain technology for and how it would incorporate it into the current platform. These are not new rumors because they have existed in some form for some time now. We already know that Facebook could benefit from a native currency and a proper blockchain division makes such a venture less difficult and closer to implementations.

Everyone who is interested is more excited than surprised to find out Facebook wants to tap into the blockchain’s power. Most of the information is speculation but it seems highly likely a Facebook currency will materialize in the near future. currently there is no concrete evidence that Facebook has actively explored implementing blockchain technology; But with the prospect of creating a Charge for usage a naive currency would make sense. For now there is much work to do, in
order to develop a currency before they can even, test or think about rolling out a currency.
