Good piece here, @fr3eze. Didn't know you invested so much even in your early times on Steemit. That's great confidence in the platform instead.
Very much like the real work, the sad truth of Steemit as a platform is one where the rich gets richer, mainly because of the opportunities the higher SP can afford us.
Unfair? I can't say for sure, but I do know there are lots of talented Steemians who are not making as much because they need to withdraw their earnings from time to time, compared to others who, say, can afford to delegate their SP out for profit.
I was investing at the $1 price level but yeah that was quite an amount for me. I guess current system which grants power linearly to the amount of SP is nothing wrong. The wealthy imbalance outside the system is not in the scope of problem Steem trying to solve.
At least comparing to the traditional media, this place is rewarding author like never before.
