🐒 There were 377,296 LESS Steem powered down this past week than the prior week. I think we will continue to see the Power Down numbers drop in the coming week. Power downs are continuing to fall week over week and this should be good for the price of Steem in the near future.
Glad to see less people are powering down. I regret powering down back in march/april, but needed quick cash to cover some emergency bills. Hopefully that number continues to drop more and more each week!

afternoon guys/gals sorry if i sound thick here, i haven't been been on steemit long and trying to understand all the terminology as fast as i can, still trying to get what this power up and down actually means in simple terms,
i kinda guessing here so please correct me if i a m wrong
power down means selling off your steem cash ? is this correct and which does this refer to steem dollars or something else ?
power up again i'm guessing this means buying steem and depositing into your account on steemit which in turn gains you more steem power
