Interessing i think bitcoin fork and steemit problem has a huge impact .
Powering down is a measure of the ability to curate. The lower the powering down the better.

Thanks for this very informative post.
A little calculation reveals the last mega power down was in March at a value of $1,243,033.
The most recent powering down was substantially less in comparison, at $451,213.
The difference is markedly significant at $792,090.
I’m not a mathematician; but, from my observation this is an excellent sign, and encouraging news, that the big players aren’t as jittery as they were just a few months past.
