How to make money on Steemit: For noobs

If you are just starting on steemit or have steem power of less than 500, you will find it real difficult to gain any traction on the platform. I started on steemit in April 2018 and since then i have made gains of about 145% on the date of this writing.

How I did that? Below are few pointers:

1. As soon as you open an account, first thing that you need to do is buy some SBD. I bought 9 tokens as an experiment but soon i will buy more, now that i have validated my results on the experiment.
2. Second, start making consistent post, 1 every couple of days is enough.
3. If you get any votes from other steemians, thats great otherwise thats not essential for this strat.
4. Divide total SBD that you purchased with number of posts that you intent to create every week and thats the amount you will spend on each post. So if you buy 20 SBD and intend to create 5 posts a week then you will spend 4 SBD on each post.
5. Out of the total SBD that you are going to spend on each post, spend 50% of those on fixed ROI bots like @smartmarket, @minnowbooster and @thundercurator etc.
6. Spend some of the money buying votes from bots like @dailyupvotes and @brupvoter. They have a minimum of 1% ROI and in dailyupvotes, you can get better ROI if there are no bids.
7. Spend rest of the money buying votes with no ROI cap and low minimum votes. Don't put money in bigger bots with minimum of 1$+ because it will be difficult to recover from losses and most have capped ROI of 10%.
8. Create quality content and reply to comments to build a following. Once you have following and some SP, upvote all the quality comments to encourage communication.
