Thanks Steemit! Some thoughts.
Like I see. Three months ago I created a Steemit account. More people, I recommended this social platform. Lately I've been busy with the crypto coins. Trading, technical analysis! That's what I wanted to post here. But I did not forget my passion: photography. So I started posting photos and articles about photography.
The beginning was hard, very difficult. I did not know anyone about Steemit and my posts were "invisible". But I said, there are a lot of things to be here and it would be a shame not to post yet. Even though my posts added amounts between 0.05 and 0.1usd.
Some people helped me with advice and votes at first. They are not many, and they are not whales. Everyone told me the same thing: keep posting. Make quality posts and maybe a whale will notice them and give you a high value upvote. Or continue, to reach a high reputation level. Well, that was my goal. To reach reputation level 60.
So I was persevering and posted an article every day written by me. One day I had the pleasant surprise to see that a whale gave me a 70 usd upvote. In the following days, that posthed more than 100 usd. This event was a strong motivation to go forward. I decided to invest the 100 usd in Steem Power. Later I promoted some postings with bots of upvotes (paid). Every day I cleaned up and paid up for the items I liked. It is true, as a beginner, the gains from cleaning are small. Do not forget, though, that the sea is made up of a lot of drops.
We invested 500 usd in the Steemit account. I participated in some photo contests, where I won several times. Slowly but surely I've just reached the reputation level of 60 on Steemit. A few days after we invested the 500 usd, the Steem and SBD prices rose spectacularly. We have withdrawn 100 SBDs worth 800 USD at the time.
What can I say? A success story, where I had some luck. But luck is just part of the story. On Steemit, the key to success is perseverance. That's what I recommend to you, now that you have the motivation to post high quality articles. What is the motivation? Well, SBD price! A SBD is worth 10 USD. If you receive on your 1 usd (sbd) posting, it actually counts 10 usd. No, I did not calculate well. Your 1usd post will bring you steem power and SBD, so it will not cost 10 usd. Probably 7-8 usd. At this time, I do not have time for calculations. ;-)
What did I do with Steemit? Well, I gave myself more time for my passion: photography. Every day I read a few articles on Steemit. Photo categories, cryptocurrency and Steemit are the most read. What do I propose for 2018? Well, it's time to help minnows! I think I've grown quite a lot. So I'm going to start organizing competitions.
I want this article to inspire as many minnows as possible. And attention, it does not matter read followers you have. What matters is their quality and how active they are. In vain you have 1,000 followers if from 800 of them you have never received a raise.
Be perseverant! Steemit will reward you for quality posts.
