Feels so good to actually have my own home, have been itching to get into my homesteading for many years now just never wanted to commit due to renting :D

Yeah I did get to meet him, seems like a good guy.
I had to take off not long after though as it was getting late.
No I haven't heard of joes connected gardens, will check it out :)
I'm still new to the north, been living down south for a long time so still learning whats around up this way
