Haejin Flag War Timeline
For those interested in verifiable events regarding the Haejin saga, I have begun to put together a timeline from the blockchain-verifiable events. It is not complete, so if you have any events to add, please let me know in the comments.
Here is the timeline up until the end of the truce between haejin and Bernie.
Oct 15 - Bernie upvotes Haejin (with all alts)- Haejin also selfvoted this post
Nov 1 - Bernie upvotes Haejin (with all alts)- Haejin also selfvoted this post
Nov 1 - Bernie upvotes Haejin (with all alts) again - Haejin also selfvoted this post
Nov 28 - Bernie upvotes Haejin (with all alts)- Haejin also selfvoted this post
Dec 9 - @Ranchorelaxo upvotes haejin for the first time on a single post
Dec 9 - Haejin sends Rancho a transfer memo thanking him
Dec 18 - Rancho begins upvoting haejin indiscriminately on multiple post at about $330/post
Dec 19 - Bernie Downvotes haejin for the first time
Dec 20 - Bernie publishes this post starting the first part of the great haejin war.
Hostilities ensue
Dec 23 - Haejin asks his followers to power up and upvote him (telling them steem will go to $14 & $22)
Dec 25 - Haejin tells his followers to delegate to him
Dec 26 - Rancho begins downvoting Bernie
Dec 28 - Haejin declares "If this Blog post gets downvoted; @ranchorelaxo has our backs!!"
Dec 28 - Haejin begins a downvoting campaign against @themarkymark (@themarkymark has never downvoted haejin)
Jan 1 - Haejin complains to @dan about "Thugs" downvoting him to 0 (while still earning MASSIVE profits from rancho's upvotes) Dan responds and upvotes the comment.
Jan 2 - @themarkymark and @tuck-fheman make posts about haejin's downvoting of charities and poker games.
Jan 3 - Haejin begins
Jan 3 - Dan downvotes haejin twice
Jan 4 - Scarlet7 asks Bernie to remove his flags during a exchange about how they are both (haejin and Randowhale) profiting. Bernie suggests they talk on steemit.chat
Jan 5 - Bernie and Scarlet7 announce an agreement
Hostilities Subside (for the most part)
Jan 5 - Haejin’s posts average more than $400 per post
Jan 6 - Haejin predicts $14 Steem target dead ahead
Jan 6 - Haejin has a post with final payout of $704.33
Jan 6 - @adm continues to downvote haejin
Jan 6 - Jan 11 Haejin’s posts earn $11,437.51 in 6 days.
Jan 11 - Haejin upvotes a spammer and tells @adm, “...If you continue downvoting me, myself and @ranchorelaxo will reverse every one of your upvotes and downvotes. Combined we have $1.6 Mil SP...go ahead, check our wallets. I see your vote activity with steemcleaners. IF you continue downvoting my blogs, we will have no choice but to diligently reverse ALL your's and SteemCleaner's votes and add tons more in SP if required….”
Jan 11 - @berniesanders replies to haejin’s threat above, “...The truce is OFF. You are treating Steemit like your personal playground and that is going to end. You will NOT come here threatening people like you are…”

I'll continue the timeline tomorrow...it's late. plus that's a good start to the early days of the war. We still have to get to the truce and the events that led to the end of the truce.
I'll have to come back again. I'll probably make this into a separate post. It's tedious work going through all of this.
This brings a little more clarity to a story many on here know about, but more through whispers then facts.
I agree. Its easy for the timelines to get jumbled up even for those involved. I learned a few things here.

I wonder why bernie ever upvoted him.
I was also surprised that bernie upvoted him before rancho, that dan upvoted him and that haejin upvoted spam to reverse adm's work.
From my experience I know that eradication of spam is not a part of adm's agenda.
This would be a good reason to power down

I think Bernie voted for him because he liked the content. A lot of people don't realize that the war didn't start until Rancho started upvoting him indiscriminately. I think more than likely that haejin and craig worked out a deal and haejin has control over his stake. He certainly has control of his posting key. I think haejin did a little mis-representing and now he is trapped by that.
And now learned again.
Bernie did the same thing that haejin does.
He called it ozhartart, and instead of working out deals, he voted himself with his alts and maybe had a few mutuality deals with other people, I did not bother to check about this possibility.

ozchartart is not bernie, but I think he has the posting key and added it to a bot. The account follows and votes as he does, but he doesn't have control over it. If he did, he would have used it to lower haejins rep back in the day.
Having the posting key is already control, and he has more than just the posting key.
And if the account follows what bernie does, it shows that bernie does not just control it, but exercises his control over it.
Notice that ozchartart stopped to post almost completely, and when it did, it was bernie.
ozchartart is bernie, and he did what haejin did minus a deal with craig.
This is where you overestimate bernie and are overconfident in your assumptions.
Did it cross your mind why bernie spreads his Steem over so many accounts?
He has more than one reason for doing so.

Haha I was thinking about making a timeline about this but I figured someone wouldn't want the truth to get out there.
Your time line so far seems to be pretty accurate. Infact, I'm fairly certain it's spot on. The only thing I was not fully aware of was that bernie had upvoted his posts at all.
When it comes to anything after january 11th, it's just a flag war and those who are affected the most are minnows who decide to support one side or another. There's really no budging on either side but it could be useful to include the birth of abusereports and a few other initiatives to stop abuse on the platform.
I'd like to dig through my comments and find a conversation I had with I believe was that scarlet person.
@haejin I understand the problem that is running around steemit. Issues are there and simply no one can run from this. Even if I am on your place, I simply can't run. The best way is to come up and speak up your mind. I am not against anyone here, neither @maeknows or @haejin. All I want to say is to come up and discuss. I am less than a minnow @haejin, your earnings won't affect me in any way. Nor I am opposing what you are doing. I am just here to say that, One steem/sbd costs more for us. And if you dig in minnow then you will see that few guys are putting their whole day, just to get 1 sbd, just to earn food. I respect your talent and work @haejin. I am one of your regular reader. And one thing I know is to never run off, face it and just speak up your mind. Downvoting won't going to make any effect. One day you will feel that discussion is all the solution for this.
Valuable work. The blockchain may provide a record of activities but digging all the info out from multiple accounts is no mean feat
