Quest to understand STEEM : The Beginning

If the supply model is so aggressively inflationary, will the value drop so aggressively? Is this any new disruptive kind of economic model? Any opinions?

Are both STEEM (cryptocurrency) and Steemit (the community platform) decentralised in architecture? With whom does the power rely regarding the front-end (in Steemit) and the exposable APIs?

Which average prices (from which exchange?) are considered for calculation of Steem-Dollars?

How can we verify the payments made for Author Contribution? Can someone provide guidance to verify the financial stats of a particular post?
