IMPACT OF DRILLING BOREHOLES ON CLIMATE IN AFRICA
Drilling boreholes and construction of valley dams in Sudan, Somalia, Zambia and Turkana Regions in Kenya tend to drop the water table that is a source for vegetation. This is followed by increasingly poor and scanty vegetation.
