Open Source the Whole World

The future will be more open and free

Anyone that ever has had passion for computers usually realize pretty fast how hopeless it is to build something yourself. It takes too long time. Even though it’s fun to problem solve sometimes the amount of hours it takes can be crazy! Now I mainly speak about writing code.

I would love to sit for hours and hours problem solve an issue it can be quite engaging. But I also know that life is pretty short. If I lived 10,000 years then it would be no issue to problem solve for years. But now when life is around 100 years we want to work together with other people to speed everything up. And the primary focus is you want to reach economic abundance first.

What is the fastest way to innovate? Making everything open source and give the project to everyone. So every human can take a look at a problem or a project and find ways to improve it. Working in an open system. Because there may be a human then that pretty fast can solve a problem for us. This saves massive money! And then we can move on to the next task.

This goes back to something that I have talked a lot about. That the future is less about ownership and more about rent and share everything. This will save in so much for us. We realize we are fine not having all the new stuff so to say. Technology especially smartphones are reaching a peak state. Just as cars. Where the new stuff coming out isn't really that revolutionary.

We are all now being hooked up to this giant network that we call the Internet. We can communicate faster than ever before and do it globally. New information can spread extremely fast in the network. Which means that if we open source all code we will get much faster innovation, products and software. The whole system will be working much better because everything will be constantly in sync with the latest since everyone has an eye on the network.

Code works faster than Humans. Humans are pretty slow when they work alone or even in a team. But the magic happens when millions are involved into making something better. The Tokens provide liquid incentive for people to massively engage. But we also always need to improve the system and make it easier and more fun all the time.

Of course we can’t just live in a code based world that would make stuff very boring. The magic happens when we combine that aspect with our human side. When every contribution can be rewarded with some form of digital value in form of a Token then it will be worth it to always engage. Since every action you do will be able to produce a job or a salary. Digital computer jobs are constantly on the rise.

We can see how Steemit currently is the only Blockchain right now that shows us how the future will be. Steemit shows us the paradigm shift and how effective exchanging Tokens can be. In a couple of years we will be getting more interesting platforms on the market like from EOS. The market is big enough for many players to come on board and generate much more abundance in the network.

My main thing that I enjoy the most with open source is how we can remove this whole scammy ad culture that we have had a long time. Since technology makes everything cheaper and more smooth working all the time. Also how we can break the monopoly culture where the power was in the business. With open source culture the power is back in humans.

I'm looking forward to when games will be more open source especially. That is when games will truly grow a lot. When you allow the users to create the game. That was one of the main reasons why Minecraft and The Sims are so successful games. It allows you to create new worlds. It's an Open World. Similar to Open Source.

Humans want to work with stuff that makes them feel limitless. As if everything is possible. Open source makes people feel less limited and more limitless in potential. The goal in all areas for us is always to strive to a more limitless life with infinite potential.

I love these kinds of posts from you from time to time.
Some say that crypto might fail... But how can it really? Many of the daps and crypto projects are improvements on the existing platforms powered by the blockchain.
If they are clearly superior... How can they fail?
Freedom of use. No control...its just better all around.

Thank you! I like writing ^^ Always like seeing your words as well! :)

These are really topics we all love.

I don't see how they can fail either. It would be preposterous, really.

We are on the cutting edge of life ladies and gentlemen so let us proceed; and the lesson for today will take us on a strange journey, so let’s examine the facts: one, we’re here, which is the best place to be.
Two, we’re alive and what could be better than that?
And three, a miracle could happen at any moment which leaves you with the thought that life is surprising and in fact quite often is but we don’t always notice it.
So to cut a long story short, we are here and now and it is today and that is amazing just on its own. But if you want more then getting paid to say this is great too don’t you think?

I agree, ads will likely cease to exist as better monetization options arise, and good riddance. Ads are no where near as necessary in the hyper connected world of today, so they are a poor investment for companies and a nuisance for consumers.

Not entirely sure about everything eventually being rented and shared instead of owned, though. That paradigm works well for some things, but not for all. I guess we will see how things progress.

Unfortunately the core aspects and differentiating features of Mastodon were seemingly ignored. Something which I kinda get, because it's yet another way of social networking.

That being said, I'm a long time user of Twitter and Reddit and have recently been totally blown away when I started using Mastodon, more specifically the LinuxRocks.online instance.

What made me try it:

Decentralisation

Federation

Openness

I love that there are a group of people here on Steemit holding this amazing vision and imagining the possibilities. It's so powerful when we do that. It's palpable to me. I think this is the most powerful thing a person can do here.

I do not want to sound pessimistic, but the road is not easy. There are forces which want control and will tend to centralize things. Also, the current companies making the money such as Facebook, Tweeter, Google, making the money based on the ad system are powerful and they even want to decide that is fake and what is not fake. In order to try to achieve what you are advocating for, we need to raise awareness, we need to show that the world is more than Facebook and Google. Still, 99% of the people I talk to have no idea of what a cryptocurrency is.

yeah in future we will see that every thing will be decentralised and open source .
