Really interesting article and video here from @steemitguide explaining what Steem Witnesses are and what they do.

Great information for anyone starting out on Steemit who wants to learn more.

Stephen Polsky ( @shneakysquirrel ), Gabriel Scheare ( @piedpiper) and George Donnelly ( @georgedonnelly ) interviewed #3 witness Michael (@pharesim) and entrepreneur Travis Boyd (@daowisp) about what witnesses do for the Steem network and how the distribution of wealth in the Steem network will be changing in the near future.
