Welcome to The Poetic Nest Steemit Blog, for all first-time visits; and for those who frequently visit, welcome back.

This post will highlight the goals of the Poetic Nest on Steemit. Hope you enjoy the read.

Like our introductory post said (https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@poeticnest/hello-steemit) @poeticnest isn't an individual, we're a community. A community enthusiastic about all "cerebro-dexterous" art (permit the coin). We seek, we find, we groom, we promote.
We've discovered that while so many folks have good writing skills and the kinda crazy imaginations that can make paper drip with ink, they're all hidden in the prisons of a shy mind and lazy hands.

So, in joining Steemit, @poeticnest has been able to connect to a few in the global poetry community and gained (to some extent) the attention of some "Poetry Lords" (@opheliafu, @scottyeager, @maya7, @aubreyfox, @johnjgeddes)

These are the principal goals of Poetic Nest on Steemit.

1. To connect to the Global Art Community.
Steemit is all about connecting folks of similar interest and interest them in new ones they seemingly are alien to. This platform is ideal and Poetic Nest hopes to connect with art enthusiasts all over the world. This is our first and foremost aim.

2. Sharing what we have on Steemit.
Do visit these blogs from our very own poetic writers: @godwine, @divineinyang, @creative-me, @henrycrown, @honourumoh, @mihzwords, @stanislaus, @tibz... More are joining the platform as the good word of Steemit is been resounded within the walls of the community. Feel free to follow as many of us as you can to follow up on original content.

3. Promoting Poetic Nest on Steemit.
Poetic Nest is a brand. Locally, we're seen as the most prolific gathering of wordy palms worthy of writing psalms that'll sing joy and euphoric depth of reasoning to porous minds willing to be bored (drilled) outta being bored with mediocre cliches. It's our aim to promote this community of writers even beyond the borders of the physical world, even to the virtual one. (Those who know the Passion For Christ Movement, #P4CM, can relate)
