The Death Of Steemit
I will be brief and blunt in this article. I wrote this article due to the funny activities that have been going on here. This site was created for a single purpose which is a platform for creators but its currently being misused by few.
What is Steemit
Steemit is a social media platform where everyone gets paid for creating and curating content according to the developers, meaning that Steemit is for content creators and artist. although, that doesn't stop others from using the service. In so doing they should be professional and reasonable.

Just like voting in an election or liking a video or comment on youtube/facebook that is exactly the best common way to explain upvote. But the question is? Shouldn't your upvote worth more?.. We all know that it's excruciating just to get 1 or 2 followers, as such we employ "resteemer" a term that is very common. Call them professional advertisers.. They promote your post by upvoting or resteeming your blog on their walls.
But wait, shouldn't each upvote worth more? One vote should worth more than a vote rather than just a statistic. When one engaged the service of resteemer, you might get up to 300 upvotes and that might worth less than 0.10. Apart from the followers, you might get, the upvote is totally useless. Every vote should worth more than a statistic.
Recommendation:
Dear Steemit, I really understand the concept implored but the only constant than in life changes. As such, judging by the fact that the site has grown and still growing, upvote should worth more than statistics and voting bots should be minimised to the barest minimum if not eliminated.
This site is the future of Social media and as such we shouldn't let few bad apples stunt the development. Original content creators should have a fair shot.. each upvote should worth a $. The number of votes you have daily should display on your profile and once it exhausted then you shouldn't even be able to vote. In conclusion, one upvote should be equal to $ because it shouldn't isn't implemented, most originalist will either abandon their profile or elope to the alternative.
In conclusion, let sanitise the site and reward content creators more.
Good opinions, but steemit is well designed to me but its has not been easy for newbies.

You still have the option of sending creators of content that you love 1 SBD directly and that would be the alternative. Otherwise, you'd have to put in time and effort to build up your SP engaging with steemit users, and increase your voting strength. Or invest more into the platform .
The longer you use Steem, the more development, tools and interesting projects you'll find going on.
well first, everyone doesn't get paid for creating content. It depends on who visits, upvotes and likes your posts. I often like and upvote posts, and my vote isn't worth anything.
second, increasing what an upvote is worth???? Where do you think the money is coming from to do this. That would be a great way to bankrupt the site, then no one would get anything.

People are on this site to try to make money not for content. If it was content based the hot and trending list would not look like that. Go to YouTube and try to find one video on how good the content is on steemit instead you will find endless videos about how to make money on steemit. Unfortunately anyone getting involved now has missed the boat because people have already raped the platform. We have 1m members how many are active how many are bots if we have few 100k active that would be a shock hardly any hense when you right a blog how many comment hardly any. The concept behind steemit and crypto is great but doesn't work everyone is against regulations in general because the people should be in charge well this is what you get the Wild West where anything goes few rich at the top and everyone else moans. Oh well just my 2p worth lol

Yes hope people consider different options on how to solve the problems. You can never make everyone happy and I also applaud people who joined early and are doing well now they took a risk and it's worked out well so respect for that. Everyone starting off now needs to work harder the platform works has minimum issues people need to work together to help each other

Yes actually i agree almost what u wrote. I hate also when i see facebook or other things here. I saw somebody posted a pictures that according to her she was the one who make that pic but how come the messanger icon was there also on the pic. So it was just a screenshot and i was angry because i suffer every day to make something real.But in my understanding if more people useing the platform and of course the SBD it will makes the SBD stronger.
