Does Steemit Blogpost interface needs an upgrade ?

Hello all steem members, I was wondering if steemit blog post layout needs an upgrade as its hard to embed image or a video within the post. If I am not missing anything I find the present interface to be prehostoric in some way. We have already come a long way in digital world and got used to more user friendly interface with various options. I find it quite hard to post any image or video within the post. Dont you think it should allow such options so that the users can make their post more interesting and decorative to make it more informative!
