Hi @kingscrown & @fyrstikken, You both are our leaders in this community and are very responsible personalities. we learn here from you and taking guidelines. I'm a hardworking minnow and I want to earn a portion of my living from Steemit.I think both of you has some misunderstanding on this issue. I think you both have no serious problem with downVotes. But minnows like me much effected and much frustrated with downVotes. I had to pay the price on this post after I commented there and now i deleted my comment. A lesson learnt.
Its my desire and request to both of you to stop your this war and become friends for the sake of community and utilize your these energies to help minnows. I shall be thankful to you for this favour.

Very responsible personalities??? What version of steemit have you been participating on?? LOL

Here, minnow - merry christmas!

Don't spend it all on moonshine and condoms :)

Hi @booster, Thanks for the christmas gift. "Merry Christmas" to you too.

WOW!

@booster Noble indeed, most noble!

Yeah the creator spamming all he wants. Such " noble" booster.

Now that's the best way of showing love to a minnow....I can imagine how he feels now coz I know what it means to even get a 5$ upvote as a Ugandan Minnow....it feels joyous.

Agree. What kind of image does this convey to serious investors? They see these shameless wars and move away from it. Sadly, whales are repeatedly acting irresponsibly and forgetting that everything they type is permanently recorded on the blockchain. That stuff can and will bite back to hurt the platform.

Investors don't buy STEEM because STINC owns the majority of stake, they do not use that stake wisely, they hard fork often, they do not market well ... and on and on.

The flame wars are inconsequential.

Great summary in just a few words.

True. But flame wars don't help the image because they're permanent on the blockchain. And concerning Steemit's stake, that can be addressed by doing what Ripple did: they placed a big chunk of their ripple holding in escrow for years ahead to ease the investors concerns.

Speaking of hard forks, you're surely aware of the messy bitcoin forks and the unending developer wars. The Steem hard forks are to improve the network. And since it's a consensus-based system, it's up to the witnesses to implement or reject them. Steemit has to abide by the witnesses' decision and re-consider their modifications if required.

you're surely aware of the messy bitcoin forks and the unending developer wars.

Surely you're aware of the timelines you're comparing when it comes to hardforks and surely you're not counting hardforks by outside developers to create a new shitcoin?

If so, then also count the numerous Steemit clones in your numbers and timeline and reassess. And when you're done with that, realize ...

Steemit has changed the entire economic model when they hardfork, repeatedly.

The project you invested in yesterday may have an entirely different model ...

SOON!

But flame wars don't help the image because they're permanent on the blockchain.

I feel this viewpoint is naive when we're talking about "serious investors".

that can be addressed

Let's deal with reality first.

Steemit has to abide by the witnesses' decision

@tuck-fheman When you put it like that I can't argue and must agree. Slicing sharp intelligence as usual.

Wait, aren't the whales the ones having the wars?

@drakos

What kind of image does this convey to serious investors? They see these shameless wars and move away from it.

I think serious investors like myself understand this perfectly well.

non invested oompa loompas talk and know nothing. Clueless. As you can see, the market is very much up, so STFU and go back to bed. @quinneaker should join you, maybe you can cuddle.

@erodedthoughts

Wait, aren't the whales the ones having the wars?

KingsCrown is not a whale, he is a leeching shitposter who have begged and made agreements with whales and dolphins to auto-upvote his shitposts time after time.

First of all @fyrstikken, tone down your language when you address me. You can tell "STFU" to people who use filthy language with you, not me. When STEEM is only up 7% while the whole crypto market is skyrocketing by 100-1000%. You call that a comparison?

I'm not taking sides in this fight, I think it's childish and immature. And if you consider yourself a serious investor, I wonder, how would you attract other investors to join Steem: by throwing profanities and acting like a raging bull in public, or acting polite and civilized to give a good image about yourself and the platform?

it seems to me that no one is starting to be sure this war is not possible, so they as pope must understand each other to help the small fish in steemit without having to look for problems with each other, your comments are very useful and you get appreciation from your positive thoughts
