ARE THERE STILL CHRISTIANS? - A reaction to COZA SAGA
It is fascinating that the word of God is always true, it has stood the test of time and it has never failed. How do will ignore the relationship between the word ’2 Timothy 3:1-7 and our current reality of various scandal raised against different pastors.
It leaves me in doubt of weather we still have Christian in Churches. We should not be ignorant of what led to the call of a particular sect “Christians” Acts 11: 19-30
So how do will explains a Pastor alleged of rape,could it be that the apostles had foreseen such events before Paul wrote to the corinth 2 Corin 5:1-13, when he admonished that such should not be heard within the body of Christ and that such should be dealt with.
Then how do we explain a Christian sister that showed up from nowhere claiming to have been raped over a decade ago,to where have all biblical teaching gone?,what of forgiveness? or did Jesus not teach that to get mercy you must show mercy and to be forgiven we should forgive, do we not pray it daily or often “forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespasses against us? How then did a self acclaimed Christian drag along for over a decade, bottling up anger, strive, bitterness, hatred, within her dear temple of God (body)?,how do we explain a Christian sister having two beautiful kids out of wedlock (not as a result of the rape), does true encounter with Jesus not bring healing anymore ( no true encounter with Jesus can remain the same). When a person cultivates true relationship with God, it is everything, so I sense something is not right with the interview, I sense there is much more we have not been told ( going by Christian standards and you have claimed to be a Christian)
And then, how do we explain that a loving Christian brother, a wonderful husband, who has given is wife a shoulder to lean on,especially in this tring times, is also having an extra marital affair?
Is it not crystal clear and evident in their fruits that not all that calls the name of God are really sons of God, why so much stains, shame and reproach in and within the body of Christ. Who is lying to who and when will the truth be told?
A SURE WAY OUT
For the sanctity of the name and body of Christ this is my advice to all concerned parties, if Busola won't forgive and drop this case, then the Pastor should call a press conference and tell the truth, ignoring the consequences of his actions. Let the law take its course, and let watch God replace the Pastors ashes with glory, off course Gal 6:1, 2 Chro 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. Hence, let justice be served, let there be healing and restoration.
Let the Pastor seize the time to seek the face of God again- Acts 2:21 -'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.' I am sure our dear sister won't be able to cope knowing and seeing that the Pastor is doing well even in jail.
