RE: How to boost the price of STEEM to over $100

in #steemit6 years ago

i noticed the value of an 100% vote slightly going down over a course of days for the last days, ... steem won't rise fast since people keep selling it for income, it's not like your classic made-from-air crypto investment here. I think patience will be one of the most important aspects, if huge whales were to dump all at once, it would be like a total market crash, and lots of people would join in on the avalanche, same as a classic pump and dump scheme to get the price up, only in reverse

but that doesn't mean it wont get back, i bet theres TONS of people hurt now because they sold off their btc on a panic reaction last year when it came tumbling. Trading doesn't work if it only goes up forever :)

You might have missed my point. STEEM is not all that usable like other currencies in the top 50. The more exchanges it is on, the more useable it is. Right now there are no major multilingual exchanges that list both SBD and STEEM together. That is a problem because people here get paid in SBD. If you don't know English or Korean, you have extra steps to convert your SBD and your options for exchanges are extremely limited. It becomes a hassle or burden and people don't want their currency to be a burden. Getting SBD and STEEM will drive usership up and the value. There will be no pump and dumps when people store their STEEM in SP because cashing out is a 13 week process. Right now, the majority of STEEM is locked into SP
Total STEEM = 267 Million
Liquid STEEM = 76 Million
That means there is 200 Million STEEM locked away in SP

Due to the extremely low available supply of liquid STEEM, the price is evaluated over $100. The problem is people don't want to use it because it is not available everywhere as a currency should be.

Please help out to get both STEEM and SBD onto exchanges.

mh well i saw the potential of a pension fund due to the system so far once

in a way it cant be touched or "borrowed from" by big gov

but that still leaves the possibility of people draining it as it goes, which should be okay because i dont believe in the nanny state either

As for the use, i think those obese fish should stick their heads together and find a way to make steem attractive to venture capos without the company needing to go public

its a new world after all so it shouldnt be a problem but i fear the solution will come not from the ones who entered it with money

if anyone comes up with a way to make steem productive in any way at all so it becomes an investment to those who arent spending time daily on making it happen

thats when price can go up seriously

for real
