Women are the major part of our society , they are 51% of the population but the presence of women in our society is 32%. an exhibation has launched on 14 Dec in westminster UK ,100 years of the day that first woman to cast her vote. This book is the lasting legacy of this historical project, it is an opportunity to reflect on how much progress has been made towards gender parity, whilst also highlighting how much more needs to be done, across all spheres of society, each and every day. The name 209 women is based upon that all the articles , photography all work done by the women. One of the Author describes in her golden words that“To represent and be presented for what we are - as women, by women - is a very special thing. This is what 209 women is all about.”
