Dear my followers, or other newbies on steemit... Rule is simple; upvote anyone's post in your feed and upvoted too. Imagine you have 200 friends in your fb and none of them like one of your sharing. Probably you will loose your interest to @steemit. (So why do you follow people who has not similar interest with you? Let me guess... You need upvote to earn right?) Don't expect any upvote before giving any single interest to someone.. All of the tags shows trending as default, so we are in "new" section to waiting to be discovered. At the trending side you will generally see traveler or sexy girls poses, some affiliate marketers (of course some people to worth reading their every post). More whales means more centralising. We may wait "worthy" blog post for ages...

This is my complaint as well. You could write a nobel prize worthy post and get no love. Newbies are largely dismissed on this website.
I have a theory to earning :) You can get a service for single sms receiving number at $0,99 monthly... You can create something like 25 account and purchase a little steem for each account and give upvote to each account post's.. Probably you will get more on the long term.
Or create a bot to comment and collect curation rewards :)

Even if fewer people are upvoting, following, or commenting to me here -- I enjoy this community much more than Facebook. And I still have a lot more to learn here! :)
It is amazing to refresh the "new" tab, and see the prodigious rate at which posts are being created -- and then, consider that a year from now we might have 10x, or even more!
