Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 8/1/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 8/1/2019

Should you be trading with Steem today..

Happy 2019 the price of Steem and SBD's were booming last year but this time we leave 2018 with Steem at $0.26 and now Steem as been mostly around $0.28. We saw some very slow movement from Steem and while frustrating for many it was a good sign that it will go up and it's been doing just that and so it was to no surprise when Steem finally reached $0.30 for 2019. We have seen 3 greens now and also as expected Steem as reached $0.31 it continued to remain steady after yesterday reaching $0.30. We first saw the move to $0.31 at ⏰06.00 and while it was possible but still a little surprising on how much Steem pushing today as we have already seen a $0.32 mark at ⏰09.20, while it didn't last long it was great to see. So Bitcoin as reached another peak for the year $4075 at ⏰15.40 this of course would mean the price will continue to go up but Bitcoin as already fallen from that peak to $3985 while this could indeed be the fall we are waiting on Bitcoin remains at it's usual pace, just remember if the fall comes it will be a good time to get more Steem incase it goes upwards after. This is slowly taking alot of stress off the Steem INC team we only need to get a little further up as survival past this is looking much better. While Bitcoin as gone down we have already been here before and Steem was not hitting $0.30 and now we are, Steem is getting stronger guys. It's already been predicting 2019 could be a dull year for prices unless something changes well there is already a slight movement going on but if nothing happens then I hope those who are in the game will be strong and will take this opportunity to keep collecting Steem before it gets even more difficult to obtain. As at these low prices we are still on a survival mode era of Steemit.com. Bitcoin dropped drastically forcing Steem's value to tank causing Steem-INC staff reductions and a possible threat to the website. The conclusion was to survive by cutting down costs of nodes among other strategies which will still take time to implement. Right now there is a focus on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Steemit INC said they are on track with it's cost reductions and also moving forwards with SMT's. With recent development Ned said we should be able to save enough to make it past this years bear market, not only that but remember we fell to $0.22 and look were we are now at $0.31, we are slowly getting into a good place. While Ned's news is amazing it's only speculation, we now still need to actually do this and survive. Also you might already know but Steem was added on to stateofthedapps.com but is now also on dapp.com. It's been an interesting day for SBD's firstly it was surprising to see SBD's fall back under $0.80 at ⏰1.50 but we was soon back above, things got bumpy after that we saw Steem get to $0.84 at ⏰06.05 and a few more times during the day, with Steem doing so well we expected SBD around $0.83 but I guess it was a big jump, we had SBD's at $0.80 yesterday and and now there on $0.82 so cant really complain.
