Reminds me of globalization trade agreements in which they state nothing, including environmental concerns can stand in the way of globalized trade. One just has to read up on what happened in the dispute over dolphins being caught in nets to see a lack of concern for doing right. Same with the implementation of NAFTA and the increased "heat trapping gases" from trucks idling at the borders and transporting product across the continent. Then they want taxpayers to foot the bill for their so called warming calls. The article on tobacco that was funny, you know you never see them going after manufactures of alcohol like you do with tobacco and/or if you seen any meetings they've held on state's who legalized marijuana and people who show up to oppose these dens of sins being placed in their neighborhoods...it's hilarious. I was at one last night, a commission meeting to complain about people clogging the drains at the splash pad when they also were doing a public input meeting on the location of some of these marijuana stores going in. Hypocrisy at it's finest.
