I've launched steemit.photography website
I've purchased steemit.photography domain few months ago and finally set-up a simple (still in beta) website. It uses WordPress techology and Steemit Feed plugin.
In the future I'll try to include many favorite photography authors ( @pepe.maya, @lighteye, @bil.prag, @biti, @kalemandra, @brumest, @dmcamera, @claudiaz ...), as well as other supportive steemians ( @felixxx, @moon32walker, @dumar022, @ervin-lemark, @olegw, @direwolf, @kid4life ...) and many others that I've forgot to list here. Any suggestion is welcomed and I'm opened for any type of cooperation (especially with tech oriented users). In the end - domain itself is attractive and I'm willing to listen dolphins & whales. Thanks.

I would be cautious using "Steemit" in your branding and domain instead of Steem. Steemit is a private company, the name is trademarked and not open source.
steemit.photography was a web domain that was available to purchase, so I don't see a problem in what @svarozich did
Domain was available for purchase. Won't be using logo or something. Anyway, if it is problematic, I can put it back on domain market.
You didn't steal anything, you simply bought what was available to buy. So, I don't see the problem
Nobody said anything about stealing or theft. The issue is the use of a trademarked name.
It's not only the logo that is trademarked. The name 'Steemit' is also.
I'm just giving you an FYI. Steemit Inc may start to clamp down on people using the name 'Steemit' in their services at some point.

Asking for money, views, upvotes, follows, or resteems.
Considering this , great number of post should be (they are not) treated as spam.
I see you point (and it seems that steem and steemit are the same case). Anyway, as mentioned, I can take down website anytime, if needed (the contest is mine), and put domain back on the market.
It's true that they own both Steem and Steemit trademarks, however they have released the Steem logo under Creative Commons license. You can always email them and ask permission. I would suggest they are more likely to grant permission for 'Steem' than 'Steemit'.

Iz dizajnerskog aspekta predlažem da staviš jednobojnu pozadinu koja se ne ističe jer ovako izgleda malo nakiceno i pozadina je preintenzivna, pogotovo kad se prelome slike... :)
Vise sam radio na drugim stvarima, nisam jos poceo sa dizajnom, samo okacio dvi slike :)Tu ce ici 4-5 random pozadina. Thanks

The idea is a good one, but like others said...it needs a little bit of visual touch ups with a paid theme to make the design look more professional. But you will fix that easily.
