442! 441? 442! 441?... Disappearing Followers

Just over a month ago I passed 300 followers. Then eleven days later I passed 400! Over the last two plus weeks the number has been up one, down one everyday. 442, 441, 442 and then 441!

I'm just wondering if someone can't make up their mind or a bunch of people are having second thoughts? Has anyone else experienced this?

    I'm sure I have, but I guess I don't pay enough attention to the following on my page. I know there are times when I go though and spring clean my following. If someone has been inactive (not posting, commenting) for at least two months or more, I'll stop following them.
