Your steemit goals, what steem power will represent in the near future.

Owning 100sp now is about the same as having $228. That would be some big money to an african for now and if we imagine possiblities that are most likely to happen when the steem prices shoot up that figure can push to as far as $1000 at before the end of this year.
That may or may not happen but it doesn't rule out the possibility of having more money with time to come.
Now if we rule out the possibility of powering down someday and withdraw all your steem, we are left with the best option of accumulating and holding more steempower.
A person with 1000sp right according to the steem prices has a vote of about $0.15 that's when everything is at 100%.
That may not seem like some big money to some depending on the current prices and what they would expect on a post but we should know there a time will come when that vote might be worth $0.5 or even $1. And still you would have made more steem power.

Maybe you are a good content creator.
I tell you this.
It doesn't matter how of a good content creator you are, somedays on steemit are always going to suck
You should know that, so that you don't expect fireworks on each day you do something on steemit.
Some days no one will see your content. Not even one and maybe those who see it may not be so interested. But that's how it is here.
With thousands of people producing content everyday it's so likely to happen.
The role of steem power in the tough times on steemit
You can curate

Curating is like water, it only makes sense if you got the source of water and in this case it's steem power.
Supporting other people while you are earning is a relief. I have seen some good accounts curate on a daily basis. With curating it doesn't matter if you don't post, as long as you vote.
There are other choices you can take by delegating but that can be a full article on its own.
Interacting with newbies, making friends and giving them some support in a way or another.
That's the power of owning steem.
So what are you waiting for?
Power up some steem.
Whichever way you do it, make sure you earn some daily.

It is better to say, behave like on any other social network and on Steemit you will be rewarded for that. Sometimes reward will be more, sometimes less but still better than Facebook, Instagram...
Yes much better.
I imagine being on steemit for a few months doing some interactions with people is much more worth it than being on Facebook and Instagram for years.
