Well, yeah ! Short posts can really do well on steemit and even I also encourage people to share even short posts.
Actually, people think that steemit is only for long articles. But this is not true at all. On steemit, if a person wants to make short posts as he wants to share a short message or he wants to share something funny to put a smile on people's face, then he sure can do it.
People should get over this stigma.
@traf - I sometimes feel that a picture speaks a thousand words and my babbling on around it may ruin the effect. I mostly do wildlife photo (my original takes) and my thoughts because just photos get quickly ignored on Steemit many times. Of course, I need a longer article sometimes - for example to tell my funny sci-fi story of how I made 1 Million SBD in 147 years! There is no way I can narrate that in 250 words (I guess I could say Wooosh - Women, cars, spaceships and everything - who cares how I made it! LOL). In short - I will pay serious attention to short content too. Could have kept this comment shorter too - isn't it. LOL
@trafalgar, what you're doing with the @traf account is so inspiring to me! I allowed myself to fall into a "long form only" kind of mind-set, and have been posting less frequently than I'd like.
I think more short content on the platform will be a good thing
I appreciate that you add "TOP QUALITY" in front of "original short content." And demonstrate that with your own hilarious posts -- each one giving a reader a good, hard laugh. Fewer words, with just as much value.Moreso, maybe.
