Thank you Steemit for a great September

With our new curation account @exploretraveler going well, and the repost of some of our content coming from ExploreTraveler.com and new posts weekly. Here is an update for those who might be interested in doing the same.

As you can see we have been slowing down posting and try to put 5-7 photos of the day each week. Now these are new and our photographer @pilgrimtraveler picks these from new photos that have never been seen before. So these are exclusive to Steemit first then out to other social media platforms second. Stories will be written with these, and then the article posted. Below is a list of posts to show something interesting about what people seem to be upvoting.

It appears that anything article connected to Amsterdam will do well right now, and with Steemfest coming soon that is most likely the reason. This is good since the community will naturally up-vote something connect to that event maybe even at a sub conscience level.

Our new photography titled Photo of the day has started slow but votes seems to be increasing over time. I suspect that whales prefer articles, and they get up-voted before photography.

Now we must speak about CHEETAH'S since they are wild and crazy beasts running around posting comments. So far this does not seem to have has any negative impact, and may be helping us. First this brings attention to the fact that we also have a blog at ExploreTraveler.com and list the link back to our original article. These backlinks are building up on Steemit and it also helps our SEO there so we are not to worried about this as of today. Also see the chart and report below for our @exploretraveler page.

As you can see our blog on steemit is growing, and external links are also shaping our future here. It is important to note that we do use a plugin showing links to our steemit blog so people can go back and forth.

Notice that it our home page, and Steemit App pages showing up so far. But the important element here is that all steemit blogs are fully visible to search engines, and the data is improving for each page. As the site grows over time the relevance of this will draw in other pre-existing bloggers who will also drive up the relevance of each other sites as a win win for all. The data being available for steemit is unique, and with this level of open source openness great things will happen.

All in all this has been a very fun experiment, and the data is looking positive with rewards as well. So here is the graph that show our growth so far, and it is trending in the right direction.

We will continue to generate and open report so others can use this for ideas of their own, and we hope to get ideas from everyone on how we can grow our blog here at @exploretraveler to a larger following.
