Vacation bible school tour to the land of our own Jerusalem in the Philippines
Its feels so amazing when you act out the characters of a story in the bible...
Last Saturday, i volunteered to help in a vacation bible school where kids can know more about the bible through songs, drama, games, craft and bible story.
You can accurately tell that the kids are really enjoying their time under the program as they listen attentively to their teachers.
The kids were grouped according to their age so they got to understand what they are been taught according how they can best understand at their age.
The kids so had a visual view about the bible story they were taught so that can can understand the story better.
Our theme for last week Saturday was every praise. So the kids learnt about the triumphant entry of our lord Jesus Christ to Jerusalem and how he was been praised.
Can you spot Jesus with his disciples and the donkey, also the people of Jerusalem laying their cloths on the floor so Jesus can pass on it as he triumphantly enter the city of Jerusalem with the shout of Hosanna.
Amazing right?
And our amazing Jewish outfit, yes because we are in jerusalem
Even the youngest kid we have was not left behind and also had an amazing moment
They not only listen to bible stories and drama they also do crafts
This are the outcome of the craft our preschoolers made
Yes, that was the donkey Jesus used to triumphantly enter the city of Jerusalem
We also teach morals. This are the kids praying before eating their snacks
During their worship section, you can sense how engaged they are?
Yes, the joy that filled their heart after the end of the program
This program will be up for 6 Saturdays and we got 5more Saturdays to go, its not too late your kids or nephew, nieces, neighbours can join too... The program is held at crosspointe church North Reclaimation road Sungold SM city cebu city every Saturday at 2pm. Registration fee is 650pesos for the whole period (6Saturdays) including vest, snacks and other materials needed.
