The Adventures of Pinocchio is a literary work written by the Italian author Carlo Collodi. It was published in Italy in the newspaper "Giornale per i bambini" from 1882 to 1883. Disney of 1940 made its adaptation with great success.

Let's remember the story of Pinocchio, then we will highlight the values he teaches us.

In an old carpentry, Geppetto, a kind and friendly man, finished one more day of work giving the last touches of paint to a wooden doll he had built.

Looking at him, he thought: how beautiful it looks! And since the doll had been made of pine wood, Geppetto decided to call it Pinocchio. That night, Geppeto went to sleep wishing that his doll was a real boy.

I always wanted to have a child. And finding himself deeply asleep, a good fairy came and seeing Pinocchio so beautiful, he wanted to reward the good carpenter, giving him, with his magic wand, life to the doll.

The next day, when he woke up, Geppetto could not believe what he saw: Pinocchio was moving, walking, laughing and talking like a real boy, to the old carpenter's joy.

Happy and very satisfied, Geppeto sent Pinocchio to school. I wanted him to be a very intelligent child and to learn many things. He was accompanied by his friend Pepito Grillo, the counselor who had given him the good fairy.

But, on the way to school, Pinocchio became friends with two very bad children, following their antics and ignoring the advice of the small grill. Instead of going to school, Pinocchio decided to follow his new friends, looking for not very good adventures.

Seeing this situation, the good fairy bewitched him. In order not to go to school, he placed two donkey ears, and for behaving badly, he told her that every time he told a lie, his nose would grow, it would also turn red.

Pinocchio finally acknowledged that he was not being good, and unfortunately decided to look for Geppetto. I knew then that Geppeto, when going out to look for him by the sea, had been swallowed by a huge whale. Pinocchio, with the help of the small grill, went to the sea to rescue the poor old man.

When Pinocchio was in front of the whale, he asked him to return his father, but the whale opened its huge mouth and swallowed it too. Inside the whale's intestine, Geppetto and Pinocchio met again. And they were thinking about how to get out of there.

And thanks to Pepito Grillo they found a way out. They made a fire. The fire made the great whale sneeze, and the raft flew with its three crewmen.

All were saved. Pinocchio returned home and to school, and from that day he always behaved well. And in reward of his kindness, the good fairy turned him into a child of flesh and blood, and they were very happy for many and many years.

The values that are observed within the history of pinocho are: sincerity, obedience and love.

Sincerity:

Telling the truth makes us free, it takes away our pressures and gives us a better perspective of things, by not being deceived, we can really achieve a greater awareness of everything else, as well as of ourselves. "It is a value that we must live to have friends, to be worthy of trust."
Being honest costs a lot, sometimes it is not easy to tell the truth, but it is a great way of life, pinocho teaches us how difficult it is to be sincere, but it shows us that it is possible to be true and that in the end the reward is great. Imagine if this would happen to us how big our nose would be, although it is not necessary for the nose to grow to realize that someone is lying.
Telling the truth at all times will free us from great trials, no matter what the truth affects, remember that lies have short legs and always come to light.

Obedience:

Pinocchio teaches us that in order to be obedient you have to be docile and above all to put aside our arrogance and selfishness.
The disobedience comes because we are unwilling to submit our will to a mandate of a person, many times we do not know the consequences that will bring us not to obey and simply run with the painful need to learn through that bad experience.
Being Obedient brings reward and inner Peace.

Love:

Love is one of the values most appreciated by all, indescribable, incomprehensible and beautiful, people do amazing things just for that feeling of love, like going out in search of someone on a raft and then being swallowed by a whale.
The story lets us see what Gepetto is able to do to see Pinocchio again and after what Pinocchio is willing to do just because Gepetto wakes up again. The value of love is very important and more in this society that is hungry.

What do the principal personnel teach us?

PINOCHO: We can not make a mistake, but rectifying on time and Honest is the best decision.
