We are on our way to the 'People's Republic of China' or in short just 'China'.  Lets learn more about this very interesting country.

China is the 3rd largest country in the world, but is has the highest density of population.  There are more than 1.3 billion people in China.

You will find China on the continent of Asia and there are a few countries that borders onto China.

Bordering countries include Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burma, India, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.

China is a country rich in cultures and beautiful buildings.  A lot of different languages are spoken here like Mandarin and Gan and Haka.  Although it is a beautiful country, it also suffers from typhoons and earthquakes and tsunamis which can be devastating to a country.

Buildings are build in such a way to cause minimum damage in the event of an earthquake/

Most of the people live in the rural areas and there are areas with a lot of poverty.
