Photography of children is a very close topic to me. This is more than a picture for me. This is an integral part of my life. First, because I am a mother, and I want to capture every moment of my children's childhood, their holidays, walks and just their faces that change so quickly. Time flies, and I try not to miss the moments of growth of my children. After all, very few years will pass, and they will become adults. And secondly, children's photography is my main direction in the work of the photographer. It was with children's photography that my path to this profession and my love for photography began.

How to photograph children? This question is relevant not only for photographers. If you are a parent, if you are a teacher or kindergarten teacher, that you somehow have to face in order to take pictures of children. And surely you have noticed that it is not so easy to do. No wonder Children's photography is one of the most complex and specific areas in photography.

Tell the adult that you want to take a picture of him and he will easily fulfill your recommendations about posing and emotions. He will stand in those decorations that you have prepared, he will wear the clothes that you have chosen. You just do your work together for a nice conversation.

At best, he'll say, " No, it's boring, I don't want to."Children do not like to be photographed, they get tired quickly, they will not pose and smile on command. Sometimes, this is exactly what we want to see in the pictures. But often the photographer wants to capture something more touching, sweet and pleasant.

You need to play with the baby. Play is the main activity of children. Training, education, development of habits - all of it absorbed by better in the form of a game. Therefore, for a photo shoot, using the game is the perfect way to get those frames that you have in mind.

For example, you dream of a gentle shooting of girls in beautiful dresses surrounded by flowers, cute smiles and burning eyes. Well, tell your girls that today they are princesses and you go for a walk in the wonderful garden of the Royal Palace. Give them a little story so they can get used to their roles. And the second option of shooting children, which also gives an interesting result, is "secret photography". Try shooting the kids when they don't see it. For example, they are busy with their business, reading, drawing or thinking, sitting at lunch. Try to take a picture of them from behind a slightly ajar door, or from a side angle. These photos look very interesting, create an element of" peeping "and"presence".

For shooting children it is better to use zoom lenses, as children move a lot, and the usual portrait fix lens is often inconvenient.
