i remembered when i was thinking about persuing english teaching, my lecturer reminded me that loving english and love to teach english is two different things.
i did taught for awhile, i taught primary kids and high school kids english for almost a year, but i wanted more.
so i left the teaching field and pursue a different field.
I have the exact same feeling as you did. So which field did you pursue after that? Always wondered what other options there are for english teachers who don't want to teach already
i left and pursue business and management. Now with my background of good English I can do copywriting since its parts of marketing. Because teachers have management abilities so the corporate world welcome it too, its just your mindset will adapt and change since you're bot surrounded by children anymore
