FROM RADAR TO MICROWAVE
Today I write about something that we all use every day microwave oven.
Do you know how this started out?
It all started because the world war ended.
This company was making magnetrons that were used so that the army could tell up the enemy air planes with radar.
This made it possible to make the air planes more visible and could be picked up by radar.
After the war the company sat with so many magnetrons that they could not sell, as they were not necessary anymore.
Then the weirdest thing happened.
The microwave was made because of a melting chocolate as well as corn that were popped into popcorn.
Please do not miss this video as it is so interesting to see how this all came to light.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and have a wonderful day from me here at the Wild Coast.
It is surprising what advances were made due to war.

Nothing beats popcorn... My younger sister had a microwave oven without the turntable bottom, it worked like a bomb for 35 years. Nothing fancy it just worked!
Very interesting to know the history about something we now take for granted.
