KEEPING YOUR CHILDREN BUSY IN HOLIDAYS.

Here in South Africa the winter school holidays are coming up soon. 

Make sure you have these entire little things you might need to keep your children busy this holiday. 

We will want them to read and do a lot of things, yet we do not want to let them play outside when it is too cold.

For that reason I have been digging for some wonderful things children can make, some on their own and others they will need help with.

School teachers can also use some of these to make the children hand crafty as this is so important for children to realise how to keep themselves busy and how to use their brain as well as their hands. 

I am sure this video will help other people as well when the winter comes so that the children do not just sit in front of the television and their X boxes.

It is not wrong for them to watch these and play a little but I personally feel that there should be a time limit for them to do these things where they just sit and do nothing.

Children must learn that even though these are fun it is like working and they must always finish what they start. So in this video let the children pick something they want to make and make sure that they finish it and then find out how much fun it can be to do your own thing.

There are so many different things that children can make in this video and enjoy. 

The other thing is show them the video and let them pick what they want to do. 

Once they have decided show the children how to stop the video so that they can follow all the steps by themselves and this will definitely make them realise how to follow something and finish it. 

By doing this you might even get them reading as there are so many books with things they might be interested in that also teach them how to do certain things.

 So there are so many ways to keep children busy, and even teach them things that they like even more. It will let children read with understanding later in life, and because they are inquisitive as it is something they want to make they will not stop reading. It also helps children to read with understanding and when they have to do comprehensive tests they will find it much easier.
