SUPERNOVA HAPPENING

An amateur photographer called Victor Buso took his camera outside and mounted it on a 16-inch telescope.

The camera and telescope was set 80 million light years from earth.

He was an astronomer, and probably did this more than once as he was very interested in testing his camera.

There was a long held theory that scientists held how supernovas occur.

He was taking photographs of the NGC 613 galaxy.

He captured quite a lot of images of a star that was moving.

He realised it was the first stages of a supernova.

The space just below the spiral galaxy seemed empty.

Then in next photo there was a bright blast like a light appearing.

This is the first time that there had ever been photos taken of an emerging supernova.

According to the astronomers who know about all this it is 1 in a 10 million chance that this can be captured.

Buso told and sent all the astronomers the photos of his star, and  they all started putting up cameras to see it as nearly impossible to see a  dying star.

Every astronomer put up cameras to watch this star.

This only happen when stars acquire or lose too much of their matter.

It is something that is very hard to do as we do not know when this is going to happen to a star.

Apparently this happen about every second, but it is just impossible to know when, Buso was just lucky and here are some of the animations  that they have  given us to look at.

A color image taken by scientists at UC Santa Cruz reveals the  budding supernova (bracketed in red) that an amateur astronomer  discovered while testing his camera.

This man must have felt wonderful, thinking he had the luck of capturing this with his camera being an amateur photographer.

We never know what our children might become, this was a child that loved the starts and when he was a grown man he decided to become an astronemer.

He was only an amateur camara man, but look what he found.

I really hope you found this as interesting as I did.

May you have a wonderful blessed day from me.
